Job 28:28 | MHM | STEP | v. 28 : Finally, Job tells us what God has revealed to people about wisdom. Unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord , that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding (Job 28:28 ). This means that true wisdom is not about knowing all the secrets of the universe, but about respecting God and turning away from evil. This is the kind of wisdom that God wants us to have. It is the best and most important wisdom for our lives (Proverbs 2:6; Micah 6:8 ).
