Job 6:16-17
v. 16–17: Job describes these friends as brooks swollen with melting ice and snow in the winter, “which are dark because of the ice, and into which the snow vanishes; when it is warm, they cease to flow, when it is hot, they vanish from their place.” (Job 6:16-17 a). They seem helpful at first, but when he is truly in need, their kindness disappears. –
