John 11:28-29
v. 28: They took away the stone, and Jesus looked up and prayed, "Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me." Then he called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" (John 11:41-43 a). Jesus prayed openly so that everyone would know the miracle was from God. v. 29: Lazarus came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said, "Unbind him and let him go" (John 11:44 b). Jesus brought Lazarus back to life, showing his divine power and giving hope to everyone who believes in him.
