v. 37: Some of them said, “Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?” (John 11:37; John 9:6-7 ^b). Some doubted or questioned why Jesus did not prevent Lazarus’s death. They did not understand that God had a bigger plan.
