Joh 12:50 | MHM | STEP | v. 50 : Finally, Jesus said, "I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say." (John 12:50 ). Jesus knew that his message was about eternal life. He spoke with confidence, knowing that those who believe and obey will have everlasting life (1 John 5:11; John 17:2 ). Rejecting Jesus’ words means rejecting life itself. Jesus was perfectly obedient to God, and we should also trust and obey his words. By doing this, we honor him and receive the life he promises.
