John 6:71
v. 71: The Gospel explains that Jesus was referring to Judas, who would betray him. This reminds us that not everyone who claims to follow Jesus is sincere, but true disciples will stay with him because they believe and trust in him (John 6:71 a). In summary, many people stopped following Jesus when his teaching became difficult to understand. But true faith means trusting him even when we don’t have all the answers. Jesus wants followers who are drawn by the Father, believe his words, and confess him as the Holy One of God.
