Only people who were ceremonially clean could eat the offering ( v. 20-21 ). This teaches that holy things are for holy people. We must keep ourselves pure if we want to enjoy the blessings of Christ’s sacrifice (1 Peter 2:1-2; Hebrews 9:14 ).
