Luk 11:2-4 | MHM | STEP | v. 2–4 : Jesus responded by giving them a simple but powerful model prayer. He said, “When you pray, say: ‘Father, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.’” This prayer teaches us to honor God, to ask for his kingdom to come, to trust him for our daily needs, to seek forgiveness and to forgive others, and to pray for help to avoid sin (Luke 11:2-4 ). It shows that God is our loving Father, and we can talk to him about everything.
