If even a bad judge gives in because of persistence, how much more will God, who is just and loving, answer his people when they cry out to him day and night? God’s people, called his “elect,” may face many troubles and enemies, but God cares deeply for them and will help them in his time (Luke 18:6-7 ). We should keep praying, even when answers are delayed.
