While they waited for the Holy Spirit, they joined in prayer and worship. They knew temple sacrifices were no longer needed because of Jesus, but they continued with songs and prayers. Praising God helped prepare their hearts for what God would do next. Joy and worship replaced their fears and sadness as they looked forward to God’s promises.
