‏ Mark 13:3

v. 3-4: Later, as Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, four disciples—Peter, James, John, and Andrew—asked him privately, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished?” (Mark 13:3-4 a). The disciples were troubled by Jesus’ words. They wanted to know when the temple would be destroyed and what signs would show it was about to happen. Like many people, they were more curious about the future than about their own duties. They hoped the destruction would not happen soon, and they wanted to understand what Jesus meant.
