Mat 12:50 | MHM | STEP | v. 50 : Jesus explained, Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother (Matthew 12:50 ). Obeying God is what makes someone truly close to Jesus. It is not enough just to listen or talk about God’s will—we must do it (Matthew 7:21 ). All believers who obey God are part of Jesus’ family. He loves them, cares for them, and will never be ashamed of them. He will welcome them and confess them before God and the angels (Matthew 10:32 ).
