Mat 21:37-39 | MHM | STEP | v. 37–39 : Last of all, the owner sends his son, thinking, "They will respect my son." But when the tenants see the son, they say, "Here is the heir. Let’s kill him and take his inheritance." So they seize him, throw him out of the vineyard, and kill him (Matthew 21:37-39 ). The son is Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, sent to Israel. Instead of respecting Him, the religious leaders would reject and kill Him. This predicts Jesus’ own death at their hands.
