Matthew 6:28-30
v. 28–30: Jesus says we should not worry about clothes either. He tells us to look at the flowers: See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? (Matthew 6:28-30 a). Flowers do not work to make themselves beautiful, but God gives them amazing beauty. If God cares so much for flowers and grass, which do not last long, he will surely care for his people. Jesus gently rebukes his followers for having little faith when they worry about these things. – –
