God promises that, in the future, His temple in Jerusalem will be the most important place in the world. All people, from every nation, will come there to seek God. God’s ways will be lifted up above all other ways of living .

v. 2: And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. People from all nations will encourage each other to learn from God. God will teach them how to live, and His instructions will come from Jerusalem. God’s word will be respected everywhere .
