‏ Philippians 1:10

v. 10: He asks God to help them be able to “approve the things which are excellent” (Philippians 1:10 a). This means they will be able to recognize what is truly good and right. Paul wants them to be sincere and honest in their faith, not pretending to be something they are not. He also prays that they will live without offending God or others, remaining faithful until Jesus comes back (Acts 23:1; Acts 24:16 b; Ephesians 5:27 c; Jude 24).
