Phili 2:13 | MHM | STEP | v. 13 : Paul explains that believers can only do this because God is working in them. He says, For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13 ). God gives them the desire and the ability to live for Him. All good things we do come from His grace, not from our own strength (Isaiah 26:12 ). We are to do our best, but always rely on God’s help, knowing that God acts out of His kindness and love, not because we deserve it.
