When God gives riches, He also gives grace to protect us from the problems that often come with wealth. While hard work is important (Proverbs 10:4 ), it is God’s blessing that truly makes us rich. This is true for spiritual riches as well—our effort is needed, but all the glory belongs to God, who gives us everything we have (Deuteronomy 8:17-18 ).
