God’s name stands for everything He has revealed about Himself—His power, promises, and faithfulness. Those who trust in Him can find safety and peace, no matter what dangers they face. v. 10 : God’s name is a strong tower for His people . When they are tired or in trouble, they can run to Him for rest and safety. God’s promises and His character are like a fortress that cannot be broken into. All who trust in Him find enough strength and blessing to meet every need. The righteous run to this tower by faith and prayer. They leave behind their worries and trust in God, and so they are safe. They know they are protected, and they will find that God truly keeps them secure (Proverbs 18:10 ).
