Pro 2:12 | MHM | STEP | v. 12–15 : Wisdom protects us from people who have evil intentions and corrupt ideas. To deliver you from the way of evil, from men who speak perverse things (Proverbs 2:12 ). These people turn away from what is right and celebrate doing wrong. They try to convince others to join them in sin, and they take pleasure in leading others off the right path (Proverbs 2:13–14 ). Their ways are twisted and stubborn (Proverbs 2:15 ). Wisdom helps you stay away from such people and not to be fooled by their words (Psalm 82:5; 1 John 2:11 ; Romans 1:32 ).
