Proverbs 21:30
No Wisdom Against the LORDThis section reminds us that all human plans and efforts must consider God. No matter how smart or powerful people think they are, they cannot succeed if they go against the Lord. True success comes only when we depend on Him and seek His help in everything we do.v. 30: There is no wisdom, nor understanding, nor counsel against the Lord (Proverbs 21:30 a). People may have the best plans and advice, but if they oppose God, they will not win. God laughs at those who try to fight against Him and His chosen ones (Psalm 2:1-6 b). Anyone who tries to make war with God will only bring shame and ruin on themselves, because the Lamb will overcome them (Revelation 17:14 c). On the other hand, even if our cause is good and we have strong and wise people on our side, we still need God’s help. We should use the right means, like preparing the horse for the day of battle, but we must remember that safety is of the Lord (Proverbs 21:31 d). Only God can give true victory, so we must trust Him and give Him all the glory when we succeed.
