‏ Psalms 35:4

v. 4–6: David prays that his enemies would be disappointed and defeated. He says, Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul (Psalm 35:4 a). He asks that they would be like chaff blown by the wind and that the angel of the Lord would chase them. David knows that God’s power is greater than any human power, and that those who fight against God’s people will not succeed.
