Psa 63:11 | MHM | STEP | v. 11 : David ends with hope for himself and for all who trust in God. He says, But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped (Psalm 63:11 ). David is sure that he will rejoice in God’s victory, and all who are faithful to God will share in this joy. Those who lie and oppose God’s people will be silenced and put to shame. This hope points forward to the final victory of God’s people and the defeat of all who oppose Him (Matthew 22:12 ).
