Rev 2:2 | MHM | STEP | v. 2–3 : Jesus knows the good things about the church in Ephesus. He says, I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience (Revelation 2:2 ). They have worked hard and have not given up, even when things were difficult. They have been patient and strong, suffering for Jesus’ name without quitting (Revelation 2:3 ). They have also been careful to test people who claimed to be apostles and found out who was telling the truth. They hated evil and showed wise zeal against false teachings.
