Rev 7:14 | MHM | STEP | v. 14 : John answers, “Sir, you know.” He admits he does not know and is willing to learn. We should not be ashamed to admit when we do not know something and to ask for help from those who do. The elder explains that these people in white robes are those who have come out of great trouble and suffering. They have faced persecution, temptation, and even death for their faith. But they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb, Jesus (Revelation 7:14 ). It is not their own suffering, but Jesus’ sacrifice that makes them pure and accepted by God.
