Revelation of John 8:10-11
v. 10–11: The third angel blows the trumpet, and a great star falls from heaven, burning like a lamp. It falls on a third of the rivers and springs, making the waters bitter like wormwood (Revelation 8:10-11 a). Many people die because the water is poisoned. This star could be a famous leader or teacher who brings harmful ideas or bad laws. The judgment poisons the “waters”—the things people depend on for life and joy—showing that even things meant to refresh can become dangerous if they are corrupted. –
