Romans 3:19
v. 19: Paul says, “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” The law shows everyone their guilt, so no one can make excuses. This means that the law speaks to those who know it (the Jews), but its purpose is to show that everyone is guilty—not just Jews, but the whole world. The law leaves people with no excuses, so that everyone is accountable to God.
