God will not forget our bodies. Even though our bodies die and become dust, God will raise them up again at the resurrection (Job 14:15 ). Our bodies will be changed and made glorious, just like Jesus’ body after He rose from the dead (Philippians 3:21; 1 Corinthians 15:42 ). There are two reasons we can believe this: first, because Jesus Himself rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:20 ), and second, because the Holy Spirit who lives in us will also give life to our bodies. Our bodies are like temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19 ), and God will not let them stay ruined forever.
