Rom 8:21-22 | MHM | STEP | v. 21 : “Because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God” (Romans 8:21 ). One day, the world itself will be set free from death and decay. The whole creation will enjoy freedom when God’s children are raised and glorified.

One day, the world itself will be set free from death and decay. The whole creation will enjoy freedom when God’s children are raised and glorified.

v. 22: “For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now” (Romans 8:22 ^b). Paul describes the world as if it is groaning in pain, like a woman having a baby. The world is waiting for something better to come.
