‏ Romans 9:3

v. 3: Paul says something amazing about how strong his love is for his people. He writes, I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh (Romans 9:3 a). This means Paul would be willing to suffer the greatest pain, even being separated from Christ, if that could help save the Jews. Like Moses, who said, Blot me, I pray you, out of your book (Exodus 32:33 b), Paul shows a love that thinks about others before himself. He is ready to give up everything for the good of his people.
