Zec 1:6 | MHM | STEP | v. 6 : Even though people die, God’s words last forever. What He said through the prophets came true. The people could not escape God’s judgment, and later they admitted, “The Lord has done to us what He planned, according to our ways and deeds” (Daniel 9:11-13 ). God’s word always comes to pass, and He is righteous in all He does. When people finally realized this, it was too late to avoid punishment, but they had to admit that God was right and they were wrong. We are wise if we listen to God’s word and repent before it is too late.
