‏ Zechariah 14:18

v. 18-19: Even those who seem independent of rain, like Egypt, will not escape God’s judgment. If the family of Egypt go not up to worship, they will face plagues instead of drought (Zechariah 14:18-19 a). God can bring famine or other punishments, even if the Nile River continues to flow. This shows that no one can live without God, no matter how self-sufficient they seem. Neglecting worship is a sin, and sin always brings punishment. Those who forsake God’s worship forfeit the privilege of his blessings.
