‏ Zechariah 14:5

v. 5: The people will flee to the valley created by the split mountain for safety, just like people once fled from an earthquake in Uzziah’s time (Amos 1:1 a). This valley is a picture of the gospel church, where both Jews and Gentiles can find refuge. God opens a way for everyone who seeks him to come in and be safe (Isaiah 35:8; Ephesians 2:18 b).

Then, the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee . This could mean God’s coming to judge Jerusalem, to fight its enemies, or when he sets up his kingdom in the world. It also hints at Jesus’ return at the end of time (Matthew 24:37 c). When God comes, his saints will be with him, and every believer can look forward to this day with hope and joy.
