Leviticus 4:20
4:20 a A similar form of the phrase they will be forgiven appears frequently in passages dealing with atonement (4:26 b, 31 c, 35 d; 5:10 e, 13 f, 16 g, 18 h; 6:7 i; 19:22 j; Num 15:25 k, 26 l, 28 m). God is willing to forgive a repentant person’s sin and restore him or her to the community of faith.
