Acts 4:27-28
4:28 a God’s hand had been directing events all along in order to achieve his purpose. A similar awareness of God’s hand guiding the affairs of his people is found in the Old Testament (cp. Ezra 7:6 b, 9 c, 28 d; 8:18 e, 31 f; Neh 2:8 g, 18 h; Eccl 9:1 i; Ezek 8:1 j; Rom 8:28 k; 1 Pet 5:6 l).
