2:3  a Unconverted people are naturally under the control of the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature (see Rom 3:9-20  b, 23  c). Because of their sin, they are subject to God’s anger, because God hates sin (see Eph 5:6  d; Rom 1:18  e; 2:5  f, 8  g; 3:5  h, 19  i; 4:15  j; 5:9  k; 9:22  l; 12:19  m; 13:4-5  n; Col 3:6  o; 1 Thes 1:10  p; 2:16  q; 5:9  r).
