‏ Isaiah 12:2-6

12:2  a God’s promise to save includes reconciliation (1:18  b), participation (11:10  c), cleansing and protection (4:3-6  d), peace and confidence (32:16-17  e), and restoration (11:6-9  f).

• Lord God (Hebrew Yah Yahweh): The first word is an abbreviation of the second.

• The Lord God is my strength and my song: See Exod 15:2  g; Ps 118:14  h.
12:3  i God’s salvation is like a deep and unending source of water that provides life (see also 41:18  j; Ps 87:7  k).
