29:14 a Job described his righteousness in royal terms. A robe is a common biblical image for righteousness (Ps 132:9 b; Isa 59:17 c; 61:10 d; Rom 13:14 e; Rev 19:8 f).
29:16 g Job actively searched out and assisted strangers who needed help.
