‏ John 15:9-17

15:10  a Just as Jesus demonstrated his love for the Father by obeying his will (14:31  b), Jesus’ disciples exhibit their love through obedience to him (13:34-35  c; 14:15  d; 1 Jn 2:5  e; 5:2-3  f).
Summary for John 15:12-13: 15:12-13  g This is my commandment: Love each other: See 13:34  h.

• Jesus demonstrated his love by sacrificing his life at the cross.
