‏ Luke 20:44

20:44  a Jesus asked why David addressed his son (i.e., his descendant) as his Lord. The implied answer was that the Messiah was more than just a human king descended from David. He is Lord of all (see 2:11  b; Acts 10:36  c). Psalm 110:1  d became an important text for the apostles, confirming Jesus’ identity as the Son of God (see Mark 14:62  e; Acts 2:34  f; 7:56  g; Rom 8:34  h; 1 Cor 15:25  i; Eph 1:20  j; Col 3:1  k; Heb 1:3  l, 13  m; 8:1  n; 10:12-13  o; 1 Pet 3:22  p; Rev 3:21  q).
