‏ Luke 8:43-48

8:43  a with constant bleeding: Perhaps it was a menstrual disorder. The tragedy was both physical and spiritual, for such bleeding rendered the woman ceremonially unclean and thereby precluded her participation in community worship (Lev 15:25-30  b).
8:44  c The fringe of his robe probably refers to the tassels that pious Jews wore on the edges of their robes (see Num 15:38-39  d; Deut 22:12  e).
8:45  f Who touched me? Jesus recognized the touch of faith by a needy person.
8:48  g Your faith has made you well (literally your faith has saved you). Go in peace: Jesus said the same thing to the woman who had anointed his feet (7:50  h). The Greek word for “save” can indicate either spiritual or physical healing. Peace (cp. Hebrew shalom) refers to wholeness, not just lack of conflict (see 1:79  i; 2:14  j, 29  k; 7:50  l; 19:38  m, 42  n; 24:36  o).
