This festival played a special role in the background of the Last Supper (see Matt 26:17-19 f, 26-27 g; Mark 14:12 h; John 11:55 i; 12:1 j; 13:1 k; 18:28 l, 39 m; 19:14 n, 31 o; cp. 1 Cor 5:7 p).
