It has a particular kind of circular motion at the point; and, being hollow within, attracts vast quantities of water, which it frequently pours down in torrents upon the earth. These spouts are frequent on the coast of Syria; and no doubt the Psalmist had often seen them, and the ravages which they made. all thy.69:14,15; 88:7,15-17; La 3:53-55; Jon 2:3 command.44:4; 133:3; Le 25:21; De 28:8; Mt 8:8in the night.32:7; 63:6; 149:5; Job 35:10; Isa 30:29; Ac 16:25the God.27:1; Col 3:3 God.18:2; 28:1; 62:2,6,7; 78:35Why hast.13:1; 22:1,2; 44:23,24; 77:9; Isa 40:27; 49:15why go.38:6; 43:2; 88:9; Job 30:26-31because.55:3; Ec 4:1; La 5:1-16 Psalms 43:2-5

De Dieu renders, {Precari, hoc meum est; mutare dextram Altissimi:} "To pray, this is my business: to change the right hand of the Most High." I can do nothing else than pray: God is the Ruler of events. Mr. N. M. Berlin translates, {Dolere meum hoc est: mutare est dextræ Altissimi:} "To grieve is my portion: to change (my condition) belongs to the right hand of the Most High." 31:22; 73:22; 116:11; Job 42:3; La 3:18-23; Mr 9:24the years.5; Ex 15:6; Nu 23:21,22; De 4:34; Hab 3:2-13
