1 Kings 22:43

43 a  He walked in all the way of Asa his father. He did not turn aside from it, doing what was right in the sight of the  Lord. Yet b  the high places were not taken away, and the people still sacrificed and made offerings on the high places.

Hezekiah Organizes the Priests

1Now when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah and l  broke in pieces the m  pillars and cut down n  the Asherim and broke down the high places and the altars throughout all Judah and Benjamin, and in Ephraim and Manasseh, until they had destroyed them all. Then all the people of Israel returned to their cities, every man to his possession.

2 Chronicles 34:3-7
