God’s Covenant with Noah

20Then Noah built an altar to the  Lord and took some of every clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

Genesis 12:7

7Then the  Lord appeared to Abram and said, c  “To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built there an altar to the  Lord, who had appeared to him.

Genesis 26:25

25So he d  built an altar there and called upon the name of the  Lord and pitched his tent there. And there Isaac’s servants dug a well.

Genesis 31:54

54and Jacob offered a sacrifice in the hill country and called e  his kinsmen to eat bread. They ate bread and spent the night in the hill country.

Exodus 24:5

5And he sent young men of the people of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the  Lord.

Job 1:5

The Hebrew word bless is used euphemistically for curse in 1:5, 11; 2:5, 9
God in their hearts.” Thus Job did continually.

Job 42:8

8Now therefore take j  seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and k  offer up a burnt offering for yourselves. And my servant Job shall l  pray for you, for I will accept his prayer not to deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.”
