Isaiah 1:16-19

16 a  Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean;
remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes;
b  cease to do evil,
17learn to do good;
c  seek justice,
correct oppression;
d  bring justice to the fatherless,
plead the widow’s cause.
18 Come now, e  let us reason
Or dispute
together
, says the  Lord:
though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as g  white as snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool.
19 h  If you are willing and obedient,
you shall eat the good of the land;

Jeremiah 3:14

14 i  Return, O faithless children,

declares the  Lord;
j  for I am your master;
I will take you, one from a city and two from a family,
and I will bring you to Zion.

Jeremiah 4:14

14O Jerusalem k  wash your heart from evil,
that you may be saved.
How long shall your wicked thoughts
lodge within you?

Jeremiah 7:3-5

3Thus says the  Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: l  Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place. 4 m  Do not trust in these deceptive words: ‘This is the temple of the  Lord, the temple of the  Lord, the temple of the  Lord.’

5For if you truly n  amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly o  execute justice one with another,

Jeremiah 17:20-23

20and say: ‘Hear the word of the  Lord, p  you kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, who enter by these gates. 21Thus says the  Lord: Take care for the sake of your lives, and q  do not bear a burden on the Sabbath day or bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem. 22And do not carry a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath r  or do any work, but s  keep the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your fathers. 23Yet t  they did not listen or incline their ear, u  but stiffened their neck, that they v  might not hear and receive instruction.

Jeremiah 18:11

11Now, therefore, say to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: ‘Thus says the  Lord, Behold, I am shaping disaster against you and devising a plan against you. w  Return, every one from his evil way, and x  amend your ways and your deeds.’

Jeremiah 25:5

5saying y  Turn now, every one of you, z  from his evil way and evil deeds, and aa  dwell upon the land that the  Lord has given to you and your fathers from of old and forever.

Jeremiah 26:13

13Now therefore ab  mend your ways and your deeds ac  and obey the voice of the  Lord your God ad  and the  Lord will relent of the disaster that he has pronounced against you.

Jeremiah 44:4-5

4 ae  Yet I persistently sent to you all my servants the prophets, saying, ‘Oh, do not do this abomination that I hate!’ 5 af  But they did not listen ag  or incline their ear, to turn from their evil and make no offerings to other gods.
