Isaiah 2:6-8

The Day of the  Lord

6 For you have rejected your people,
the house of Jacob,
because they are full of things a  from the east
and b  of fortune-tellers c  like the Philistines,
and they d  strike hands with the children of foreigners.
7Their land is e  filled with silver and gold,
and there is no end to their treasures;
their land is f  filled with horses,
and there is no end to their chariots.
8Their land is g  filled with idols;
they bow down to h  the work of their hands,
to what their own fingers have made.

Isaiah 2:18

18 i  And the idols shall utterly pass away.

Isaiah 2:20

20 In that day j  mankind will cast away
their idols of silver and their idols of gold,
which they made for themselves to worship,
to the moles and to the k  bats,

Isaiah 8:19-20

19And when they say to you, “Inquire of the l  mediums and the necromancers who chirp and mutter,” should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of m  the dead on behalf of the living? 20 n  To the teaching and to the testimony! If they will not speak according to this word, it is because they have no o  dawn.

Isaiah 27:9

9Therefore by this p  the guilt of Jacob will be atoned for,
and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin:
Septuagint  and this is the blessing when I take away his sin

r  when he makes all the stones of the altars
like chalkstones crushed to pieces,
no s  Asherim or incense altars will remain standing.

Zechariah 13:2-4

Idolatry Cut Off

2“And t  on that day, declares the  Lord of hosts u  I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, so that v  they shall be remembered no more. And also w  I will remove from the land the prophets and the spirit of uncleanness. 3And if anyone again prophesies, his father and mother who bore him will say to him, x  ‘You shall not live, for you speak lies in the name of the  Lord.’ And his father and mother who bore him shall pierce him through when he prophesies.

Revelation of John 19:20

20And the beast was captured, and with it z  the false prophet aa  who in its presence
