Malachi 4:6

6And he will e  turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and f  strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.”
The Hebrew term rendered  decree of utter destruction refers to things devoted (or set apart) to the Lord (or by the Lord) for destruction

78because of the q  tender mercy of our God,
whereby r  the sunrise shall s  visit us
Or when the sunrise shall dawn upon us; some manuscripts since the sunrise has visited us
u  from on high
79to v  give light to w  those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into x  the way of y  peace.”

26John answered them ab  I baptize with water, but among you stands one you do not know, 27even ac  he who comes after me, the strap of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.” 28These things took place in Bethany across the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

Behold, the Lamb of God

29The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, ad  the Lamb of God, who ae  takes away the sin af  of the world! 30This is he of whom I said ag  After me comes a man who ranks before me, because he was before me.’ 31I myself did not know him, but ah  for this purpose I came baptizing with water, that he might be revealed to Israel.” 32And John ai  bore witness: aj  “I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and ak  it remained on him. 33I myself did not know him, but al  he who sent me to baptize am  with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain an  this is he who baptizes ao  with the Holy Spirit.’ 34And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”

Therefore this joy of mine is now complete. 30 av  He must increase, but I must decrease.”
Some interpreters hold that the quotation continues through verse 36

31 ax  He who comes from above ay  is above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and az  speaks in an earthly way. ba  He who comes from heaven bb  is above all. 32 bc  He bears witness to what he has seen and heard bd  yet no one receives his testimony. 33Whoever receives his testimony be  sets his seal to this, bf  that God is true. 34For he whom bg  God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit bh  without measure. 35 bi  The Father loves the Son and bj  has given all things into his hand. 36 bk  Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; bl  whoever does not obey the Son shall not bm  see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
