Matthew 26:2-5

2 “ aYou know that after two days bthe Passover is coming, and the Son of Man is to be chanded over for crucifixion.”

3 dAt that time the chief priests and the elders of the people were gathered together in ethe courtyard of the high priest named fCaiaphas; 4and they gplotted together to arrest Jesus covertly and kill Him. 5But they were saying, “Not during the festival, hotherwise a riot might occur among the people.”
