Prayer for Help.

1 ^aVindicate me, God, and ^bplead my case against an ungodly nation;
^{▼▼Or May You}Save me from ^dthe deceitful and unjust person!
2 For You are the ^eGod of my strength; why have You ^frejected me?
Why do I go about ^gmourning ^{▼▼Or while the enemy oppresses}because of the oppression of the enemy?

3 Send out Your ⁱlight and Your truth, they shall lead me;
They shall bring me to Your ^jholy hill
And to Your ^kdwelling places.
4 Then I will go to ^lthe altar of God,
To God ^{▼▼Lit the gladness of my joy}my exceeding ⁿjoy;
And I will praise You on the ^olyre, God, my God.

5 ^pWhy are you ^{▼▼Or dissolved away}in despair, my soul?
And why are you restless within me?
Wait for God, for I will ^{▼▼Or still}again praise ^{▼▼As in some ancient mss; MT Him, the help of my face and my God}Him
For the ^{▼▼Or saving acts of}help of His presence, my God.
